The Invictus Task Force
About the Invictus Task Force
The Invictus Task Force was formed through a unified commitment to protect children and pursue those who exploit the most vulnerable. What began as a collaboration among local agencies has grown into a specialized, coordinated partnership across jurisdictions with a multi-agency coalition dedicated to combating the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children, and has focused on proactive investigations, education, and long-term accountability.
This task force brings together investigators, digital forensic specialists, and law enforcement partners who work across county, state, and federal levels. By combining resources, intelligence, and expertise, the Invictus Task Force strengthens the ability to identify offenders, disrupt criminal activity, and protect children both within our communities and beyond.
The work is deliberate and strategic. It requires patience, coordination, and an unwavering focus on victim protection. Every case reflects a shared mission — not only to investigate, but to serve, safeguard, and restore trust.
Protecting children takes collaboration. And collaboration is exactly what this task force was built on.
Key aspects of the Invictus Task Force mission include:
- Proactive Investigation: Utilizing a dedicated forensic lab to track, investigate, and stop online and physical child exploitation.
- Victim-Centered Approach: Prioritizing the identification, rescue, and protection of child victims over merely arresting perpetrators.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with federal (HSI), state (SBI), and local law enforcement to disrupt trafficking networks.
- Community Education: Empowering families and organizations to recognize red flags and defend against online predators, often acting in conjunction with the broader Invictus Project mission.
