A Message From Sheriff Gregory J. Seabolt
Welcome to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office webpage. The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is a full-service law enforcement agency located in the heart of Randolph County. Our mission is to ensure fair and equal administration of the law, preserve public safety, and do so with professionalism, integrity, and unity of purpose—while being good stewards of the public’s trust.
The men and women of the Sheriff’s Office are passionate about serving our community and providing an exceptional level of law enforcement service. Thank you for visiting our webpage, and please feel free to contact us.
Commitment to Progress
Since taking office, we have implemented numerous positive changes within the Sheriff’s Office. Our dedicated employees developed and carried out many of these initiatives and continue to bring forward innovative ideas and solutions.

We have also remained committed to fiscal responsibility, maintaining a budget surplus each year. Through the hard work of our deputies, drug arrests, money seizures, and drug seizures have all increased significantly.
Community and Rehabilitation Efforts
To reduce crime and recidivism, we are working with community members on drug rehabilitation processes to help those struggling with addiction. Substance abuse affects families across our county and places a financial burden on taxpayers. Addressing this issue through rehabilitation and support is a key part of our mission to build a safer, healthier community.
Dedication to Service
The men and women of the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office are dedicated to serving our citizens with transparency, professionalism, and integrity. Our strong relationship with the community is built on trust, open communication, and daily engagement across our 789-square-mile county.
We value our partnerships with business owners, local government leaders, and residents. Together, we work to ensure Randolph County remains a safe, desirable place to live, work, play, and do business.
Preparing for the Future
As our county continues to grow—with major developments such as the Toyota battery plant in Liberty and new housing in the City of Trinity—our Command Staff is developing strategies to meet the future needs of our citizens. Economic growth brings opportunity, and it is our responsibility to ensure that every new resident and business receives the same high level of service and protection.
It has been an honor to serve as your Sheriff since 2018. I am deeply grateful for the trust and confidence the citizens of Randolph County have placed in our team and me. We remain committed to protecting and serving this community with dedication and pride.
