Evidence Control

The Evidence Control Division hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm.  For any evidence-related question, the public should call 336-318-6840, 336-318-6696, or 336-318-6588.  Individuals requiring the retrieval of recovered property or evidence are advised to contact one of the numbers provided to schedule an appointment.  This scheduling enables our deputies to prepare the items and facilitate successful transactions.  Property will not be released without a court order or written authorization from the case officer or detective investigating the case.  A photo ID is required to pick up property,  NO exceptions!   The pick-up address is 767 New Century Dr., Asheboro.
