Administration
The Administration department coordinates the efforts of the entire organization by implementing the directives and policies of the Board of County Commissioners. It is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Board, coordinating department activities, managing the organization's finances, administering personnel services, and providing legal assistance.

Agricultural Center
Randolph County Agricultural Center will be part of the 104 acres of land purchased in Randolph County by the Board of Commissioners in 2016. The site is near the intersection of Highway 64 and East Salisbury Street, close to Vista Parkway and approximately a mile and a half from the recently completed 64 bypass. Randolph County is located in the geographic center of the state - approximately an hour away from Charlotte and Raleigh, and 30 minutes south of Greensboro. . There will be offices for N.C. Cooperative Extension and the County Soil Water Conservation District. The Agricultural Center will include an open air, roofed arena for livestock educational activities, demonstration plots, pastures for demonstrations, a commercial shared kitchen with cold storage, and educational space for county partners to use while onsite.

The Randolph County Animal Services Department provides animal sheltering, animal law enforcement, rabies control, pet adoption, animal welfare organization networking and volunteer and public education programs.

Day Reporting Center (ADRC) - Adult
The DRC Pre-Trial Release program provides a cost-effective alternative to the confines of jail in order to reduce the commitment rate in jails and prisons.

Day Reporting Center (JDRC) - Juvenile
The Juvenile Day Reporting Center encompasses three separate programs, The ST.E.P. Center, Asheboro / Randolph Teen Court, and Asheboro / Randolph Community Service and Restitution.

Emergency Services
Emergency Services includes fire inspection and enforcement of the N.C. State Building Codes, fire investigation, answer and dispatch of all emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance through 9-1-1 for all public safety agencies in the County, and response to and provision for appropriate pre-hospital medical care and transport.

Environmental Health consists of two service areas; Food, Lodging and Institutions, and On-site Wastewater and Wells.

Finance
Finance is responsible for compliance with the Local Government Budget and Fiscal Control Act and other North Carolina General Statutes, and federal laws and regulations that promote conservative fiscal practices.
