The Randolph County Register of Deeds has indexed all documents according to the Minimum Standards for indexing Real Property instruments since January 1, 1994.
In addition to all other statutory and locally adopted prerequisites, all documents executed on paper after July 1, 2002, and presented for registration after that date must meet the following requirements.
Effective July 1, 2001, all original UCCs and amended UCCs will be filed at the Secretary of State's office in Raleigh, unless the UCC or amendment form indicates that the document is to be filed in the real estate records of the local filing office and meets all requirements of Revised Article 9.
