On June 16, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Reddy Foxx Lane, Thomasville, in regard to the theft of vehicles. On June 25, 2024, deputies located the vehicles on Fuller Mill Rd, Thomasville.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Interdiction Team Urban Unit, charges were sought against Rocky Lee Staley for two counts of felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and Alexis Jade O’Dell for one count of felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The magistrate found probable cause and issued warrants for their arrest.
On August 30, 2024, O’Dell was located in Davidson County, arrested, and transported to the Davidson County Detention Center, where she was served her outstanding warrant. She was issued a $5,000 unsecured bond. Her court date was set for September 17, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
On November 3, 2025, Staley, confined in the Randolph County Detention Center on unrelated charges, was served his outstanding warrant and order for arrest. He received a $65,200 total secured bond, and a first appearance was set for November 4, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
