On August 7, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Bachelor Creek Rd., Asheboro, for an agency assist in reference to a drug violation. Probations Officer located narcotics on Jennifer Leigh Garner during a Probation search at this residence. Upon arrival and after further investigation, she was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for the charge of felony possession of methamphetamine. She was issued a $1,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for August 8, 2023, in Randolph County District Court.
