On July 20, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to White’s Memorial Rd., Franklinville, for an agency assist with NC Probation and Parole. During a warrantless search conducted by the Probation Officer, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located. Jennifer Brower Cagle was placed under arrest and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possess methamphetamine, misdemeanor possess drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possess schedule VI controlled substance. She was issued a written promise to appear along with a first appearance court date of 08/14/2023, in Randolph County District Court.
