On July 7, 2023, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team responded to an agency assist for an attempt to locate Charles Dwayne Duncan, who was wanted out of Carroll County, Virginia, with full extradition on three charges of violating probation on felony drug offenses. He was located at a residence on Mt. Shepherd Rd. Ext., Asheboro, arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served with a felony fugitive warrant and awaiting extradition.
