On November 13, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle theft that had occurred from a property on Old Thomasville Rd., Archdale.
Following an investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Timothy James Hill, Jr. and the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony larceny of a motor vehicle and felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle and issued a warrant for arrest.
On December 30, 2025, Hill, currently confined in the Randolph County Detention Center on another incident, was served with this warrant. He was given no bond, and his first appearance was set for December 31, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
