On December 3, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Saddle Club Dr., Trinity, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon locating the vehicle, the driver was identified as Ryan Derek Shipwash, who had five outstanding processes from Guilford, Randolph, and Forsyth Counites.
He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where he was served his outstanding orders for arrest and received a $100,000 total secured bond. A first appearance was set for December 5, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
During the booking process, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located in his possession. The magistrate found probable cause for the additional charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of a control substance prison/ail premises, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued an additional $2,000 secured bond. On December 5. 2025, this bond was modified to $10,000 secured plus EHA.
