On November 13, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service on Forest Park Dr. in reference to a burglary in progress. Asheboro Police Department responded for an agency assist due to their close proximity and had a male subject detained, identified as Bobby Lee Moore.
While talking with Moore, deputies observed paraphernalia. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine was located. He was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was issued a $5,000 secured bond. A first appearance was set for November 14, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
