On August 26, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Family Fight incident on John Marsh Rd., Liberty. Upon arrival, the complainant advised the male subject had already left the property.
Following the investigation, charges were obtained for felony assault by strangulation, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, misdemeanor communicating threats, misdemeanor assault on female, and misdemeanor assault on a pregnant woman. The magistrate found probable cause to issue a warrant for the arrest of Denis Alexander Alfaro.
On October 2, 2025, Alfaro was located in Chatham County, arrested, and transported to the Chatham County Detention Center, where he was served his warrant. He was given no bond, due to the charges being domestic in nature. A court date was set for October 6, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
