On August 12, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a requested agency assist from NC Probation and Parole on Reddy Foxx Ln., Thomasville. During a search of the property, Probation Officers found illegal substances and paraphernalia in the possession of Constance Kay Marie Burcham. Deputies seized the items as evidence. Probation transported her to the Detention Center on their probation charges.
On August 15, 2025, the magistrate found probable cause for the additional charges of felony possession of methamphetamines, felony possession of Schedule III controlled substances, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
On September 8, 2025, Burcham was located in Jackson County, NC, arrested, and transported to the Jackson County Detention Center, where she was issued no bond, and a court date was scheduled for September 17, 2025, in Randolph County District Court
