On July 9, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at Jordan Rd. and Reed Creek Rd., Ramseur. Passengers Stephenie Anne Grizzard and Lacey Nicole Wright had outstanding warrants for their arrest and were taken into custody.
During a subsequent search, narcotics and paraphernalia were located. Passenger Tammy Gibson was also placed under arrest. They were all transported to the Randolph County Detention Center, where the magistrate found probable cause for the charges as follows:
Grizzard – misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was served with her outstanding warrant for misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods. She received a total secured bond of $3,500.
Wright - simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. She was also served her outstanding warrants for felony breaking and/or entering, felony larceny, felony possession/received stolen property - certified felony, and felony obtain property by false pretense out of Chatham County. She received a total of $11,000 secured bond.
Gibson - felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a total of $5,000 secured bond.
They are scheduled to appear in Randolph County District Court on July 12, 2025.
