On July 9, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to an agency assist at the request of NC Probation and Parole on Pentecostal Church Rd., Asheboro. The Probation Officer advised that when attempting to serve a warrant on Brantley Joseph Norman, illegal substances were located. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center by Probation Officers and served his probation warrant.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office filed charges against Norman, and the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, as well as misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Norman was then served the warrant, issued a $20,000 secure bond, and is scheduled to appear in Randolph County District Court on July 11, 2025.
