On December 29, 2024, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Happy Hollow Rd., Asheboro, in reference to a burglary. Crime Scene Investigations responded to collect available evidence.
On February 6, 2025, following the investigation, Brittany Alee Hoskins, was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony obtain property by false pretense, and misdemeanor breaking or entering. No bond was issued due to Hoskins being out on pre-trial release. She was also served an outstanding warrant for arrest for misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor possession stolen goods/property. A first appearance was set for February 7, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
Charges were also sought against Stetson Roy Cagle for felony larceny after breaking and entering, felony obtain property by false pretense, felony breaking or entering, felony safecracking, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods/property; and Anna Renee Strickland for felony breaking or entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and felony obtain property by false pretense. The magistrate found probable cause and issued warrants for their arrest.
On February 14, 2025, Cagle and Strickland were located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate issued a no bond, and a first appearance was set for February 17, 2025, in Randolph County District Court for both.
