On January 8, 2025, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Katrina Dr., Thomasville, in reference to a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, a female suspect was apprehended, later identified as Hannah Laci Pope. Based on the evidence gathered at the scene she was placed under arrest.. EMS responded for evaluation and subsequently transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Pope was transported by law enforcement to an area hospital for medical evaluation. When medically discharged she was then transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony assault with a deadly weapon - serious injury. She was given no bond due to the incident being domestic. A first appearance was set for January 9, 2025, in Randolph County District Court.
