On October 3, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Brady St. Ext., Ramseur, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies located the vehicle. The driver was identified as Angela Johnston Reynolds.
During a subsequent search, a firearm was located. Communications advised that the firearm was reported stolen through the Williamston Police Department. Reynolds is a convicted felon. She was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession of a firearm by felon, possession of a stolen firearm, and misdemeanor injury to real property. She was given a $5,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for October 4, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
