On August 30, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Bob Kivett Road, Asheboro, in reference to a burglary into a vehicle. Upon arrival, evidence was collected. Deputies had previously responded to the address on August 27th in reference to a call advising a Justin Matthew Stiltner was attempting to steal the truck. Following the investigations, charges were sought against Stiltner for felony break/enter motor vehicle with theft, misdemeanor injure/tamper with vehicle parts, and misdemeanor injure/tamper with vehicle.
On September 10, 2024, Stiltner was located, arrested, and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrant. The magistrate issued a $1,000 secured bond and a first appearance was set for September 11, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
