On July 25, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office was conducting a license checkpoint in the area of US Hwy 311 and Old High Point St. Upon approach of a vehicle, the odor of marijuana was emitting from within the vehicle. During a subsequent search, methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located in the front passenger area of the vehicle where Jaiden Shae Clark had been sitting. She was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where the magistrate found probable cause for felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
She received no bond due to being on pretrial release on another charge. A first appearance was set for July 26, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
She was also served an Order for Arrest for misdemeanor larceny out of Guilford County and received a court date of August 12, 2024, in Guilford County District Court and a $500 secured bond.
