On February 6, 2024, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to Quaker Drive, Pleasant Garden for a reported fraud.
Following an investigation, charges were sought against Katrina Lee Thomas for felony identity theft and felony obtain property by false pretense and the magistrate found probable cause to issue the warrant.
On June 6, 2024, Thomas was apprehended by the Criminal Apprehension Team on Bull Rush Rd., Pleasant Garden. She was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where she was issued a $10,000 secured bond and set the first appearance for June 7, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
