On January 2, 2022, the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office responded to New Hope Ch Rd, Asheboro, in reference to a breaking / entering and larceny.
On March 4, 2022, following a lengthy investigation by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, charges were sought against Roy Dale Yow, Jr., for two counts felony obtain property by false pretense, two counts felony larceny, two counts felony possession of stolen goods/property, felony break/enter motor vehicle, and felony breaking and/or entering.
On March 21, 2024, Yow was arrested at Southern Correctional, where he had been serving a sentence on an unrelated incident. He was transported to the Randolph County Detention Center where he was served his warrants. The magistrate issued a $10,000 secured bond and set the next court date for April 8, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
