The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Registry Detective was notified that James Wesley Gray, a registered sex offender, was no longer living at his registered address. Following an investigation, charges were sought against Gray. The magistrate found probable cause for felony fail to report new address/sex offender and issued the warrant.
On February 1, 2024, Gray, an inmate at the Randolph County Detention Center, was served the warrant. He was issued a $10,000 secured bond and his next court date was set for February 5, 2024, in Randolph County District Court.
